A Little Bit of Everything

My laptop came today!

Word.

Tonight, Matt & I are going to help celebrate Pete's birthday (he's a friend & co-worker). The party doesn't start til 10:45pm, though. (That's the news business for you!). I never can remember the name of the freaking place, so I always call it "The Kitchen".

Tomorrow is Riley's birthday party. I am so excited for her (OK, for my sister) to open up the gift I made her. I hope she loves it.

On a more serious note.

A few months ago, I told you guys that I had had a miscarriage this past summer. I've never written about my experience, though. But, lately, I've been writing to another blogger (check out Kari's Blog over on the left of the screen), who also suffered a miscarriage, but is now in her 26th week of her 2nd pregnancy. I don't really know how I found her, but when I was reading about her experience, I really seemed to identify with her, so I e-mailed her. She was kind enough to share her story with me & I shared mine with her. I found it very therapeutic to get it all out & it may have given me the courage I need to share my story with all of you.

I'd like to do that, but not tonight.

I don't know when, but soon.
