Happy Birthday To My Sister.

My favorite sister, well my ONLY sister, turns 33 years old today.

We're 4 years, 2 months apart in age.

Some of my best memories as a child are with her.

When I was little & scared of the dark, I used to get in bed with her. I always felt safe. She even made up a "friendly" ghost family, to let me know that not all ghosts are scary.

She taught me how to ride a bike, without training wheels. And, she made me get back on the bike, when I fell off.

We used to sit in her room & listen to music for hours & make up dances to the songs.

As she got older, though, hanging out with her kid sister wasn't exactly cool & I used to get so mad! I wanted to do whatever she was doing.

When she started college, I think we both started realizing how much we missed each other. That's when our relationship turned from a sisterly-bond to a friendship.

Now, we can't go 1 day without talking to each other on the phone. Even if it's just a "Hey, how's it going?" kind of call.

Not only is she a great sister, she's also a terrific mother. Jackson & Riley ADORE her. She's also a great wife, friend & daughter.
