People, seriously.
Matt & I finally stepped into the 21st century & got a DVR.
Ya'll, it's the most wonderful piece of technology ever invented.
Well, maybe not EVER, but pretty close to the top.
Our Dish Network consultant, a.k.a my new best friend, came to our house on Saturday & installed it.
We DVR'd the Jermain Taylor fight on Saturday because we were at the Kenny Chesney concert. And, Matt's re-wound like 1,000,000 baseball plays in the past 24 hours.
Last night, he set it up to record "Days of Our Lives" for me & tonight, when I got home from work, I watched it, in its entirety, minus the commercials.
BECAUSE, PEOPLE, I CAN FAST-FORWARD THE COMMERCIALS.
We got the Dual-Tuner, so we can watch the stuff we've recorded in the living room or our bedroom.
Seriously, I think this ALMOST makes my life complete.
And, I really don't know how I ever survived without a DVR.
If you don't own one, GET ONE!!

This week all my shows will come to an end...then i won't watch all summer. I record on my computer the stuff i can't miss and fast fwd through the commericals. it is nice i will admit that.
That's cool that you can record on your computer. I'm not that technology-savvy to even know how to record TV shows like that, although I'm sure it's so easy, that if someone explained it to me, I would feel pretty stupid!!
I love my DVR ... only 1 set back - if you EVER go on vacation you will come home to so many recorded tv shows that it almost is sad to realize jsut how much tv we watch ...
we record everything and watch NOTHING live anymore ... at least we cut out the commercial watching!

That sounds amazing. I just wish we got more than 2 channels and could afford satellite or cable. It's a good thing I don't have much time for tv!

Linked to you from MBKimmy. I LOVE my DVR too! I really don't know how I survived without it all these years. It is so much nicer to watch everything without comercials. My friends get mad when they call to talk about a show though and I shush them right away because I haven't watched it yet.
