Well.
I have a lot to say, but none of it's a MAJOR event, so I thought I'd group them all together.
1. I'm getting my butterfly tattoo on Saturday. You know I'm going to make Matt take pictures, which I faithfully promise to post as soon as we back.
2. I'm still sick. Don't forget to send me some cold/sinus remedies.
3. What is it about cheese & chocolate milk that makes my dog go NUTS? When Maisy sees me headed toward the refrigerator, she practically runs me over to get there first. Then, if I don't get her what she wants, she stands by the door & cries. Maybe I should change her name to "Spoiled Rotten".
4. Our desktop computer suddenly decided to stop working. Matt's been trying to diagnose the problem, but he did not major in "Computers" in school, so he still hasn't figured it out. THANK GOD for our laptop. Seriously, people, when did we get so reliant on computers? I mean if we couldn't check our e-mail & I couldn't blog at night, we'd be lost. Although Matt says he could find "other" things for us to do. (Sorry, Wendy...I know, TMI).
5. I am working on a freaking kick-ass anniversary present for Matt. I mean, it's awesome! I wish I could share more about it with you, but if I did, it would the ONE.TIME. my husband actually decided to read my blog. You'll just have to wait til May 25th.
6. I have written the Prologue, Chapter 1 & part of a yet to be numbered chapter in my novel. It's going a little slower than I thought, but then again, I probably haven't been devoting as much time to it as I should be.
7. I completed 2 more design projects. Both for my friend, Pete, to give to his niece & nephew. I'll take pictures of them tonight & try to remember to post them tomorrow. This means I have one big order left, then I'm order-less. So, ORDER SOMETHING, PLEASE.
8. Matt & I are re-doing the way we do our monthly budgets. OH, HUGE NEWS! We just paid off one of our credit cards. Can I get an "Amen, sista!"? Yep. Paid the sucker off. And, we're going to pay about 1/2 of our 2nd one off this month as well. It's part of our plan to STOP spending money like it grows on trees. (This will be the subject of a future post because I'm going to need your help).
Now that you're up to date on my life, I must go & finish the laundry or Matt & I will go to work naked tomorrow. And, YOU don't want that, do you?
Didn't think so.

My dogs love cheese but I dont drink milk so I dont know if they would like it or not.
Sorry to hear you're still sick.
How many tattoo's do you have? Interesting.
What's your book about? Pretty cool. Keep up the writing!! And congrats on paying off a credit card. I hate having them. Sure they're nice at times, but I hate getting the bills.
#1. Yay for you! I think because it means so much to you and you've been through so much, that the tattoo will always be very special to you. As long as Matt is there to hold your hand, you'll be just fine. I can't wait for the pictures!
#2. I hope you feel better soon!
#3.Tyson is so funny. Every time I open the freezer, he wants an ice cube-y! To each his own huh?
#4.Doing "other things" is always nice, but you can't go too many days without blogging!
#5. Congratulations on an anniversary idea. Ours is in June, and I have no clue. I want to make it nice and special, but I haven't the faintest idea yet!
#6. Congratulations on starting your book. If you're like me, the hardest part is starting. I hope you're on your way to a book deal!
#7. Again, love the photos!
#8. I'm so in your boat. We'll be taking another look quite soon I'm sure. Now that we've paid off the motocycle loan, maybe we can move on to the credit cards and learn to live on a budget. Boo, hiss... good luck to you guys!
Are you sick of my comments yet? XOXO
Congrats on paying off your credit card! We are into Dave Ramsey right now. Just "graduated" from our Financial Peace University class. We have paid off all of our debt, except for student loans and we are working on that now. If you get a chance to take a Dave Ramsey class or read one of his books - do. It has very helpful "baby" steps and lessons on money, handling money, investing, college planning, making a budget, credit use, having an emergency fund, etc. We highly recommend it. It's helpful to anyone in any financial situation - good or bad.
Awesome! Now, QUIT USING CREDIT CARDS!!!! Those things are black holes when it comes to money. We've only got one and we use it for hotel room deposits and some orders on the internet. We pay it off in full every month. The credit card company hates us, but I don't care. Why should I have to spend MORE of my already hard-earned, never-goes-far-enough money? It's not worth it. Save up the monthly payment and buy something later, WITH CASH!
Oh, and I second the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace recommendation. That's what Jim and I did our first year of marriage and I'm convinced it's what's helped us have such a happy marriage.
For a cold remedy, for next time, take a couple of Cold-Eeze lozenges on the first day you are sick. They've worked for me numerous times. They will help you get better in about 3 days compared to 5 or 7.
