Happy Birthday, Mom.

My mom turns 63 years old today!

She's in Houston with my step-dad, visiting his son, daughter-in-law & granddaughter, Emma.

I know they're having a good time & I am so thankful that they're getting to spend time with Brad & Tiffany (& of course, Emma).

My mom is such a special person in my life.

My sister & I are very close to her. We talk at least once a day...sometimes just to say "Hi".

She's been there for me, through every step in my life.

She even gave up 10 weeks of her life, to take care of me as I recovered from my injuries after a car accident in 2003. Because Matt had to go back to work, my mom took care of me during the day, helping me with my bath & washing my hair.

My mom is a wonderful mom, sister, wife, grandmother & friend.

Those who know her, are very lucky to have her in their lives!
