Update on Robin take 2

So we are just right abouut 48 hours after the removal of the "Mass", so I thought it was time for another update.

After swaping rooms 3 times we are finally in a private room and will be here through the remainder of our time in the hospital. I believe we will go home sometime Monday, maybe tuesday. We got some of our tubes out today wich allows robin to get up and walk a little more.

We still have our stomach tube in so we cant eat anything yet, we are now on day 4 with no food. Its ok but I dont recommend this weight loss plan to anyone. Although if i could market it in a positive light I might make a fortune. I am thinking of calling it the "MASS"ive diet. What do you think??
Well I have asked robin if she would like to say anything and she says quote "I'm Okay".

I have been reading her all of your comments and she smiles at everyone of them so keep them comming. I will post when we finally get that tube out of her stomach. I am probably going to have to cook a big dinner when we get home and she get the all clear for anything she wants to eat.
So thats it from the 4th floor of the hospital, thanks agin for all your thoughts and prayers. If you want to send anything send quarters, these vending machines suck and dont take dollars!!

Matt.

I think it's so sweet you are reporting as "we". You are lucky to have each other. It will make this recovery and your lives together inspiring. Take care of each other, get some Taco Bell and give Robin a hug from me! We love you Girlie!!

Robin,

I just got caught up on your blog. Wow! I'm amazed you were able to deal with that pain! You're amazing! I'm so glad to hear your ovaries are still intact..that is such a relief. You're in my prayers!

"MASS"ive diet....geez!

4 days? Poor Robin. I hope they get that tube out soon. My gracious. I know you guys will be glad to get home.

And Matt, make sure you wait on this girl, hand and foot! And get her some carryout from her favorite restaurants and lots of dessert!

Dessert makes everything better. :)

Robin...did you tell those doctors that you are not trying to loose the weight!!! Did they not notice that you are very petite as it is! For real, I hope your pain is getting better and that you get to eat very fattening food soon! Praying for you.

P.S. How lucky you are to have a husband like Matt (and vice versa)!

I would send quarters - but I think y'all will be home from there before they reach you - this darn US Holiday slows the mail down ya know ;)

Matt - I think you are incredibly sweet - and Robin - I'm wishing you a VERY speedy recovery!! Love ya!

XOXO

Robin, you better make Matt prepare a HUGE meal for you! HAHA! I think all your favorites are in order. That's great news about your Chrons possibly being gone!! I hope that all works out. Take it easy, and don't try to do too much too soon. Let Matt and your family take care of you because you deserve it you tough little cookie:) I'm still praying for you guys!
