*TV: Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this show. One thing I find kind of odd is how MUCH they talk about poop. However, they don't say poop, they say "poo". Even in both of her books, Tori says "poo". On last night's episode, Tori was telling Dean that her stomach was in knots of her return to 90210. Their conversation turned into having "poo babies." Yeah, I know...kinda ICK, but it was funny.
*Babies: One of my besties, Lauren, is going to have her very first baby tomorrow. Lauren & I have been friends since 4th grade. I so wish I could be there for her tomorrow, but I'll just have to wait for her husband to call or text me saying little Anabelle is here, safe & sound!
*Summer vacation: We're going to Chicago in September to watch the Cubs play. Well, Matt's going to watch the Cubs play...I'm going shopping. However, we are BEACH people & we're thinking of driving to Gulf Shores for a few days in August. Have any of you been to Gulf Shores? Did you like it? Or is there a better beach within 100 or so miles of Gulf Shores?
*BIG, BIG, BIG project: Some of you know about this, most of you don't. Only because I'm very hesitant to tell too many people, for fear that it might not work out. I hope to be able to spill the beans in a few days, once I have a conversation with a certain someone. And, I know...I HATE when people post stuff like this ("I have a secret, but I can't tell you...")...so I'll give you a hint: KA. And, for those of you who do know, please refrain from giving it away in the comment section!
Hmmmmm...whenever I start a post like this, I always feel like I have so much more to say...but only end up finding a few things to talk about. Does this ever happen to you?
Jackson & Riley are staying with us on Friday. We always look forward to those times when we get them all to ourselves! I'm sure I'll have some fun stories & pictures to post on Sunday.
Next weekend, we're all (me, my sister, Jack & Riley) are driving to Texas to see my aunt, uncle & cousins. We always have so much fun when we visit & the time passes too fast. Our husbands are actually coming too, but just for one night. You might remember my uncle is the one who had a stroke in September 2007.
Well, I think that's all I've got right now.

Thanks for the shout out...we are about to leave for the hospital. Oh, and I also only say "poo" not "poop". For some reason, to me, it sounds better that way.
I LOOOOOVE Gulf Shores! It is definitely our usual beach destination. But really, from the Pensacola/Destin area to Gulf Shores, you can't go wrong! I hear they are much nicer than any of the Texas beaches.
Have fun this weekend! And good luck with your big big project!
I'm really not a fan of secrets... whats is it?? Anxious to know.
Ohhh, a secret :)
I'm jealous to hear of your possible beach vacation - I've been longing for a beach for WEEKS :)
I'm so glad I'm not the only one that watches Tori and Dean. I just can't look away and I don't even feel guilty about it anymore!
I hope all of your travelling goes smoothly and I think Gulf Shores will be great! My only tip when going to the beach is try to go to a state park, they're always cleaner, less roudy crowds and have much nicer bathrooms. Wow. I just sounded like an old lady. Oh well. That's what we like anyhow.
looked for you on facebook have been missing you there ... Bowden has been so sick and I am struggling ... love you talk to you later ...
secrets!!! AHHH!! I haven't been to GS since I was a kid but I remember loving it! I think you will have a great time.
I LOVE Tori and Dean! They make me laugh!! They are cute.
I can't wait to hear your secret!!
Nathan and I are going to Chicago next month for a few days...I'm so excited! I've never been and we're taking the boys, so we'll see how it goes :)
I just talked to a lady today telling me how beautiful it is down at the Gulf Shores. It's about 6 hours south of here so I'm hoping to plan a trip down there one of these days. :)
Can't wait to hear about the BIG PROJECT! KA, huh? Could it be?????
Gulf Shores is good, but just 30 minutes east is even prettier- Perdido Key, FL is one of our favorites! Matt would love FloraBama. Ditto on the state park- some even have lodging (Grayton Beach- a little further east, but right next to Seaside, which is so perfect. It's where they filmed the Truman Show- totally Mayberry on crack).
