It was sooooooo HOTT & at times, almost miserable outside. Each time I got hot enough to feel like I was about to pass out, the sun would go behind the clouds & I was able to cool off a bit.
I was wearing flip flops & thankfully, remembered to put sunscreen on my feet, but failed to do so anywhere else. I am now sporting a sunburn in the shape of the shirt-sleeved shirt I wore.
Lovely.
In the pictures, you'll see John Daly & Bryce Molder...both are from Arkansas. Phil is not, but Matt's a huge fan of his.
Phil's wife was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. He took about a month off the PGA tour & returned just in time for this tournament. Matt's wearing a pink shirt in honor of Phil's wife.

Looks like y'all had fun!! Tom got sunburned too...even though he was sitting under a tent, he didn't pay much attention to the pond reflecting the sun onto his skin all. day. long. haha He's ok though. Hope your burn turns to tan soon!!
Phil was supposed to play at the fort worth tournament last week and decided to stay out for his family, the entire tournament was in pink in honor of his wife. All players, fans and staff wore pink. It was amazing to see so many people rally around that family in support. Go Matt! Looks like you had fun. Its brutal hott here too. UGH... stay inside.

Wow! You got Phil looking at the camera on the last one. We've been watching the U.S. Open all weekend. We were able to go the one at Pinehurst a few years ago. Pat was in heaven. Me? I was HOT!!! So I can totally relate. :P
Pat's a big fan of Phil as well. I couldn't believe it when I heard about his wife. That's cool that Matt wore a pink shirt. I hope her treatment is successful.
I'm not sure if Matt mentioned to you that we are going to be coming through Little Rock pretty soon. I'd love to meet up with you guys. I'll try to give you a call this week. :)
