The ball is rolling, but nothing is set in stone yet. I hope it will be soon. Once it is, I will feel more comfortable sharing it with y'all.

Bullets on Wednesday.
*TV: Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this show. One thing I find kind of odd is how MUCH they talk about poop. However, they don't say poop, they say "poo". Even in both of her books, Tori says "poo". On last night's episode, Tori was telling Dean that her stomach was in knots of her return to 90210. Their conversation turned into having "poo babies." Yeah, I know...kinda ICK, but it was funny.
*Babies: One of my besties, Lauren, is going to have her very first baby tomorrow. Lauren & I have been friends since 4th grade. I so wish I could be there for her tomorrow, but I'll just have to wait for her husband to call or text me saying little Anabelle is here, safe & sound!
*Summer vacation: We're going to Chicago in September to watch the Cubs play. Well, Matt's going to watch the Cubs play...I'm going shopping. However, we are BEACH people & we're thinking of driving to Gulf Shores for a few days in August. Have any of you been to Gulf Shores? Did you like it? Or is there a better beach within 100 or so miles of Gulf Shores?
*BIG, BIG, BIG project: Some of you know about this, most of you don't. Only because I'm very hesitant to tell too many people, for fear that it might not work out. I hope to be able to spill the beans in a few days, once I have a conversation with a certain someone. And, I know...I HATE when people post stuff like this ("I have a secret, but I can't tell you...")...so I'll give you a hint: KA. And, for those of you who do know, please refrain from giving it away in the comment section!
Hmmmmm...whenever I start a post like this, I always feel like I have so much more to say...but only end up finding a few things to talk about. Does this ever happen to you?
Jackson & Riley are staying with us on Friday. We always look forward to those times when we get them all to ourselves! I'm sure I'll have some fun stories & pictures to post on Sunday.
Next weekend, we're all (me, my sister, Jack & Riley) are driving to Texas to see my aunt, uncle & cousins. We always have so much fun when we visit & the time passes too fast. Our husbands are actually coming too, but just for one night. You might remember my uncle is the one who had a stroke in September 2007.
Well, I think that's all I've got right now.

Golf.
Matt got us media passes for the St. Jude Classic golf tournament for this weekend. I only went on Saturday, but Matt & his friends went on Sunday as well.
It was sooooooo HOTT & at times, almost miserable outside. Each time I got hot enough to feel like I was about to pass out, the sun would go behind the clouds & I was able to cool off a bit.
I was wearing flip flops & thankfully, remembered to put sunscreen on my feet, but failed to do so anywhere else. I am now sporting a sunburn in the shape of the shirt-sleeved shirt I wore.
Lovely.
In the pictures, you'll see John Daly & Bryce Molder...both are from Arkansas. Phil is not, but Matt's a huge fan of his.
Phil's wife was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. He took about a month off the PGA tour & returned just in time for this tournament. Matt's wearing a pink shirt in honor of Phil's wife.

11 Years.
11 years.
11 years ago, Matt & I met for the first time.
You guys remember the story, right?
How we met at a stop sign?
Yep, it's true.
Click on the link above to read a post I wrote 2 years ago.
I believe, with my whole heart, that our meeting was planned out WAY BEFORE June 2nd, 1998.
I know it was.
There were too many things that were "supposed" to happen that night, that either got canceled or postponed, that could have prevented us from meeting each other.
It's crazy, really, when I think about it.
One of the parts about our story that I love the best was when we both got out of our cars to exchange phone numbers, I knew THAT VERY SECOND that he was the one for me.
I knew right then that I was done.
I knew right then that I would never look back.
I had found the man I was going to marry.
And, I did...marry him, that is, one week shy of our 4 year dating anniversary.
After 11 years together, I STILL get butterflies every time I see him.
Matt's my best friend; he's what HOME feels like.
I won't bore you with a sappy letter to him or anything. Instead, let's look at some pictures, shall we?
Most of these were taken during our first year together (dating).
Our 1st Christmas together (dating): December 1998
March or April 1999
January 1999

Our wedding day: May 25th, 2002
And, now...11 years later!
I love you, babe!
